Rob made the lyrics to "Fast Eddie Jam" up on the spot at the beginning of the first set of 11/4/98 at the Portsmouth Music Hall. This was the first show since Rob's son, Edward, had been born on 11/1/98, and the song is basically in reference to his early birth. The music eventually segued into "Rebubula," which present a neat little family dedication since "Rebubula" is a song more or less about Rob's wife, Becca. "Fast Eddie Jam" has not been played since 11/4/98, and very likely was a one time tribute from an ecstatic new father.
