Here's my best attempt at documenting the Avalon Theme on the 4/9/99 Timmy Tucker. Start timing right when the first notes of Timmy kick in, after the drum click. the very very very first inklings that I can hear are at 13:35, it's not at all the theme yet, but this is the first instance when they kind of take the turn into it, they kind of leave the regular Timmy licks and whatnot behind, and then they both keep repeating that one riff...and... around 1350 they're both playing that same riff which gets Chuck into that high part at about 13:59, he's playing that high note very lightly but setting it up all the while. then Al. kind of dances around...Chuck keeps the high part...and then 14:45 the first time that the drums kick in in order to bring the beat to where it needs to go, with Chuck still doing that high bit, setting Al up for.. 15:16 al plays that sweet trickle-down riff, awesome! 15:32 or so, you can hear Rob play what will eventually become the rolling bass line. 15:37 the drums kind of play the riff the first time 15:52 Chuck is the first to play the theme in the background, once very softly, twice even more softly then finally 16:06 Al plays THE THEME loud and clear, once, twice, three, (third time note loud drums), four, five, six, seven(drumming changes a bit), eight, nine, ten, and then on 11... 17:12 Al changes his playing to be up high, and I love this part, does that new riff 4 times (11, 12, 13, 14, 15 (even higher), 16 (higher still), 17, 18 (back down a bit), 19 (by now they're kind of away from the original theme...the signature guitar line and drums are both no longer doing it) 19:04 the drumming appears once.. 19:19 the durmming again...but all the while Al is away from the actual Theme, but this whole jam is part of the theme in my opinion. 20:35 the drumming appears once or twice, Al is into that sweet effect... even at 21:42 or so, they're still in it, the jam that is, after 22:00 or so you can hear some cool backing from Chuck, 22:25 jam peaks again, and again at... 23:07 Al. is all over the place, and.. the jam finally ends at 23:48, it counted as the end of the Al. solo, and it's over, 25 1/2 minutes of pure bliss that would have been nice to have on "L"...
