Gil's Theme

Gil's Theme is a common riff/jam that moe. will occasionally explore from time to time. It is named after the (in)famous Gil Galdieri who has a somewhat fetishistic obsession with the occurrence of this during jams. The origination of Gil's Theme is not completely known. Rumors have suggested that it may have come from an old Rob song about his uncle, others claim it is an al. song still in the process.
It is known though, that moe. does in fact now call it Gil's Theme. It was even acknowledged on stage at the 12/5/00 show, after a Gil's Theme in the Brent Black.
Rob: "Everybody needs a little Gil in their lives."
