moe.links? Golf much? If you're interested in the moe.down charity golf outing to take place on Friday morning, contact Jeff Holl, the man behind the movement. Place: Turin Highlands golf course, 5 minutes from the venue http://www.turinhighlands.com/ Below is Jeff's email with all the details.
Hey Folks,
I am pleased to announce that the details are finalized for the 3rd annual moe.down charity golf outing. This year’s event will benefit the American Diabetes Association. The event will take place on Friday, August 29, 2003 at the Turin Highlands Golf Course (turinhighlands.com) and will start promptly with a shotgun start at 9 a.m.
The course is located about 5 minutes away from the Snow Ridge Ski Area, where the moe.down will be held. Space is limited to the first 65 people who sign up, so please do so in advance as I think this year we will fill all the slots. The members of moe. have verbally committed to me to play, but I can make no guarantee that all will play.
The cost of the event will be $70 per person, which includes 18 holes of golf, a cart for two golfers, a grilled lunch after the round, all the keg beer you can drink, a gift for playing and a donation to the charity. We will also have prizes for the winning team as well as closest to the pin and longest drive. Hackers are more than welcome, but you will need a set of clubs per player, sorry, no rentals are available. You must golf to participate and a collared shirt is required. Unfortunately, no camping is available on Thursday night at the concert campgrounds.
I am also taking donations for those who don't wish to participate, with tax-deductible receipts provides by the American Diabetes Association. I do have donation sheets for those interested. Please feel free to pass this email to those who may be interested. If you are interested in playing, making a donation, have questions or would like to sign up, please contact me at hollnone@cs.com. Remember, this is a great event for an even better cause.
Thanks
Jeff
