       as is mentioned on mL.com the J.J. Cale influence is obvious. Just seems to be a simple song about a phenomenon called tambourine, which at different times in the song refers to a girl, a car, and an instrument. Most likely it refers to becca, basically expressing Rob's fascination with all that she is, an exhaltation of all her facets if you will. Maybe not, like all of these, thats just what I get out of it. a couple of small lyrical corrections: I think in the last part of the first verse it goes: she can 
            make up her mind  as opposed to the mL has she can
